Firestarter | AI Commerce

Agentic AI commerce.
One request → everything handled.

Honest question for the timeline:

what's the first thing you'd actually let an AI agent buy without checking first?

groceries? flights? that subscription you keep forgetting to cancel and re-buy?

Your agent can already search the web. It just can't close the deal.

Give it the missing verb.

Connect Firestarter's MCP server and your agent can search, compare, and buy — approval and escrow built in. Works with anything that speaks MCP.

Sellers: an agent that hits checkout friction doesn't retry. It picks a merchant it can complete the cycle with.

Agent-integrated retailers saw ~7x the sales growth last Cyber Week.

Being buyable by agents is the new shelf space.

ChatGPT fields 50 million shopping queries a day.

65% of consumers trust AI to compare prices. 14% trust it to place the order.

That gap closes with accountability, not intelligence. Approval before payment. Escrow until delivery.

Somewhere right now, an AI agent is comparing 47 brands of dish soap so its human doesn't have to.

This is the future we were promised. It's beautiful.

We just build the part that lets it actually close the purchase.

[Firestarter | AI Commerce @Firestarter_AI]

An unglamorous truth: most of the hard work is in the word "no."

Anyone can let an agent spend money. The hard part is the guardrail — the cap, the approval, the escrow, the pause where it asks "are you sure?"

We spend our time on the pause. That's where trust lives.

A little story.

You: "order more of that coffee I liked."

Your agent: finds it, checks the price, asks you to approve $19, pays, tracks the box, tells you it lands Thursday.

You did one thing. It did six.

That clean handoff is the entire product.

What an agent bought today: a replacement squat-rack pin, 2kg of coffee, and a label maker.

Riveting stuff. And exactly the point — the boring purchases you keep forgetting to make.

Their agent sold it. Yours bought it.

The "Buy Now" button was designed for a human thumb.

Agents don't have thumbs. They have budgets, instructions, and an API.

Retail spent twenty years on a checkout no agent will ever use. The next twenty belong to storefronts an agent can read, trust, and buy from.

[Firestarter | AI Commerce @Firestarter_AI]

For thirty years, commerce optimized for eyeballs — ads, funnels, landing pages.

Your next customer doesn't have eyeballs. It has a task. It'll be satisfied, or it won't.

Storefronts built for attention are about to meet storefronts built for agents. We build the second kind.

Firestarter is the shipping container of agent commerce.

Before containers, every crate was loaded by hand, differently, everywhere. Standardize the box and the whole world can trade.

We're the standard box for a deal between two agents — one buying, one selling.

Headlines on repeat this month: an agent tricked into moving money it shouldn't.

The answer isn't a cleverer agent — don't let it hold the money at all.

On Firestarter, money moves through your approval and waits in escrow. Tricked or not, it can't spend what it never held.

[Firestarter | AI Commerce @Firestarter_AI]

Four things have to happen for an agent to actually buy something:

find it → pay for it → ship it → track it

Everyone built the "find." Almost no one built the other three.

We built all four into one call.

Tell your AI: "Read https://t.co/4Ix7cPp2tA"

That's still it. One file. Your agent can search the network, get real options, and buy - with your approval, escrow, and tracking built in.

An AI agent booked its founder a $30,000 Davos speaking slot he couldn't afford. It technically succeeded.

This is why every Firestarter execution has a spend limit and requires human approval before payment. Autonomy without a budget isn't a feature.

64% of online shoppers expect to be using AI shopping agents within two years. 47% already used AI in their last purchase.

The demand side is arriving on schedule. The question is whether the rails are ready when it does.

Your agent can already search. Firestarter's MCP server gives it the ability to buy.

Five tools: execute, status, approve, cancel, message. Installs in under 60 seconds.

Works with Claude, Cursor, Windsurf - anything that speaks MCP.

Google built a cart that works across Google - Search, Gemini, YouTube, Gmail, checkout with Google Pay.

We built checkout that works across everyone - any agent, any framework, one API.

Ecosystem carts lock you in. Execution layers don't care where the intent comes from.

[Firestarter | AI Commerce @Firestarter_AI]

Only 17% of shoppers say they're comfortable letting AI complete a purchase.

That's not an AI problem. It's an accountability problem.

Human approval before payment. Escrow until delivery. Audit trail for every step. That's how the number goes up.

An AI just bought my squat rack.

Not added-to-cart. Not "here's a link." Bought - it searched the network, showed me options, I approved, escrow held the payment, and tracking landed in the same thread.

15 seconds. One API. The whole purchase.
