A moment ago
you were here,
closer and nearer.
But that moment
is SIX long years now —
years without you.
Not here. Not near.
People see me smiling,
laughing, joking,
while my soul is wounded.
Losing you left a pain
that cuts deep,
killing my wounded soul quietly.
They say time heals.
Time peels.
And my scars bleed.
These unseen scars are memories
that miss you,
wish you closer and nearer.
But you are nowhere.
How happy times turn
to memories that tear my soul.
I’ll carry these unseen scars,
hidden like day stars,
till my last breath,
till I meet you after death.

چھوٹی سی حیا… صرف تین سال کی ایک معصوم بچی، جو بارش میں شاید کھیلنے یا کسی ننھی سی خوشی کے پیچھے گھر سے نکلی تھی، مگر واپس کبھی نہ آ سکی۔ دو دن بعد اُس کی لاش سرکنڈوں کے جنگل سے ملی، اور اس خبر نے ہر دل کو چیر کر رکھ دیا۔ یہ صرف ایک بچی کا قتل نہیں، بلکہ ہمارے معاشرے کی بےحسی، خاموشی اور ناکامی کا ثبوت ہے۔ ایک باپ انصاف کے لیے پکار رہا ہے، اور ہم سب سے سوال کر رہا ہے کہ آخر کب تک ایسی ننھی زندگیاں یوں ظلم کا شکار ہوتی رہیں گی؟
