it’s crazy how good Amitabh Bachchan’s mass entry scene in Deewaar is and it isn’t even his first scene in the movie

@MrNarci The Vijay Varma character gave actors and fans a benchmark of screen greatness to go by for generations. Every rewatch for me adds another dimension of how great this film and role were.
The word Aura gets thrown around a lot these days. This character defines that word.
@FarziLogic@thefallingsweep As Simon in Mard was legendary among many other roles!
Poonam Dhillon taking him to the cleaners in a fight scene in Geraftaar was something else!
Bob Christo was born in Sydney, Australia. He has built a jungle cottage for Francis Ford Coppola who was filming for the movie “Apocalypse Now” in 1979 .
Very interesting character. Passed away in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
@FirstDayLastSho@FarziLogic any memories?
Bhakti Barve was travelling in a Premier 1998 NE and the driver fell asleep in a tunnel on the Mumbai Pune Expressway and a tragic end ! Both Shafi Inamdar and Bhakti Barve gone too soon . @FirstDayLastSho
Arguably Rakesh Roshan’s best work. One nicely done scene is where Vijay bumps into Durjan’s car and as light flashes on his face, he hides it with his hands. Then Ajay seated in the police jeep fades away into the background as Durjan arrives. Spoke about it in this episode.
Ghulami’s protagonist is a rebel but before becoming a rebel due to the never ending atrocities, he believed in changing society without violence. In this pivotal scene, when confronted by dacoits, Ranjit asks them to mend their ways and urges them to read Maxim Gorky’s Mother.
We talk about the immense rewatchability of Karan Arjun along with the elements that make it work. Tune in as we discuss reincarnation, Durga, Durjan Singh and much more in the latest episode.

Happy New Year Folks!!
Our last episode of the year features J.P. Dutta’s directorial debut film - Ghulami. The film retains its core even after almost 40 years of its release. Late Dharamji is in his element as Ranjeet Singh Chaudhary - in arguably one of his best performances. https://t.co/qwy1kTzHUz

So it’s the last day of 2025 and the past few months on this app have been so amazing.
I was off it for the first 5 months of the year, got active again in May and it’s been a freaking ride.
There have been so many bonds, relations, friendships formed that it’s only exhilarating and humbling not exhilarating at all.
Conversations kept moving, thoughts, content, rules of engagement kept changing and though the past 2 weeks I haven’t been very active (I keep going through these phases time and again) it’s been a great year.
So I will be tagging my handlers who made this 2025 so special for me let’s hope 2026 will be more EPIC.
(Incase I missed you please don’t get mad)
