Some sights, sounds, smells - and experiences - live on, thanks to the work of @125Group - something which was once commonplace, back today at Milton Keynes. Operated by Hanson & Hall for UK Railtours. 1Z42 - 29/05/26
Running session yesterday with some new arrivals.
@Themodelcentre Class 31 and mk2s in Wessex Trains, Heljan Class 58011 renumbered from 012 and EWS 37425 fresh from Canton!
Two of the other variations in the CrossCountry fleet. Their original livery, pre-refurbed and the Ex-Avanti West Coast sets cascaded a year or two ago.
@thebufferstop@AlexHynes@CrossCountryUK It's the first refurb program for the Voyagers since their Virgin CrossCountry days, so is very much required. Interiors getting a huge refresh which is the most important part. Exteriors can be changed easily!
@DriverPotter@geofftech She mentioned that the travelling public probably wouldn't be happy with spending millions on rebranding trains etc so being done in increments but nothing major any time soon
