Thank you, Network Rail, for speaking to our children about rail safety & how to stay safe at level crossings. The children learnt some essential safety messages such as staying alert, stop, look & listen as well as the dangers of trespassing. @networkrail

Thank you @DogsTrust for your fantastic assembly & workshops @FirstHexham yesterday. Children were introduced to simple rules about how to behave safely & kindly around dogs they share their lives with & how to adapt how they behave in order to keep both themselves and dogs safe.
Year 4 are really enjoying their PE lessons, they have been learning invasion techniques ready to play tag rugby. Great attitudes, listening, teamwork and perseverance in what can only be described as one of the best sports fields with a view in the Tyne valley and beyond.
So proud, we have been awarded the School Games Mark, Gold Award for the sports provision we offer. Thank you to our staff and especially Mrs Moore and Mr Brown for their energy and enthusiasm for sports. @YourSchoolGames
