50 Cent believes Eminem deserves far more credit for the amount of money rappers are able to make today.

During a 2023 interview with XXL, Fif explained that Eminem’s crossover success introduced hip-hop to audiences who might not have listened to the genre otherwise.

According to 50, those listeners eventually started buying music from other rappers too, helping the entire industry grow.

He argued that Eminem’s impact goes far beyond record sales, even suggesting that the luxury lifestyles many rappers enjoy today wouldn’t be possible without him:
