I led a high-level delegation to Miami, Florida, in a bid to improve educational possibilities, foster relationships between The Gambia and the City of North Miami Beach on a cultural, economic, and governmental level, and create health opportunities.

The #ZeroFistulaGMB Campaign, a collaboration between my office, @UNFPATheGambia, and @MohGambia, was launched with great enthusiasm. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the need to eliminate obstetric Fistula by 2030, a serious childbirth condition that affects women.

#Zerodosechildren live in communities that suffer not just from high child mortality but also high maternal deaths. They represent the face of extreme poverty, but by working together, we can ensure no child is left behind.

I delivered food supplies to the Christian Council for the Christian community, in honor of the Holy month of Lent. Lent is not simply a time of fasting, but also of sharing and caring for one another.
