Honest question for Utah fans: Why do so many of you hate the Big 12?

This is actually insane. ESPN and the SEC literally did all they could to keep Texas Tech from getting to the Championship series.

11-seed with the overall best record in softball. The only reason their RPI suffered was because nobody wanted to play them in non-conference.

100% should have been a Top 5 seed.

When the SEC does it, it’s because players just wanted a good culture fit and opportunity.

The problem with this model is that for 134/138 teams, the season is over by January 1st.

The season is then dragged out 25 days for a combined 3 games between 4 teams.
