As shown in the screenshot, Prolific encourages participants to answer more questions to help match them with relevant studies.

✅ Fill in the other sections when you have time.
✅ Keep your answers truthful and consistent.

The more information you provide, the better Prolific can match you with studies you're eligible for. However, completing everything does not guarantee more studies, as availability depends on researchers' needs and your eligibility.

⚠️ One important clarification: Filling all of these gets you more task on prolific. But fill the sections gradually not at once so they don't think you are a bot and place your account on hold or ban.

I spent some time yesterday reviewing other contributors’ tasks, and honestly, some were shocking.
Many didn’t use the required template, lacked professional workflows, had little or no narration, or involved tasks as basic as using Finder to locate files.

Yes, the mercor odin project has organizational issues, and the frustration is understandable. But task quality is also a serious problem. Many reviewer comments point to things already covered in the guidelines, such as keeping the workflow active and explaining the Where, What, and Why.

✅ What you should do:
1. Read and follow the guidelines carefully.
2. Use the required idea template.
3. Choose a genuinely professional workflow not basic calendar cleanup or filling out a Word document.
4. Narrate what you’re doing, where, and why.
5. Review your work before submitting.

Think of professional tasks like Excel calculations, data analysis, or troubleshooting a server issue.
