@marcus_buckland@GeorgeDonikian Solution is to limit the number of players allowed in the box at a corner. Fewer players, less congestion, more scope for creativity. Those not in the box can stand 1/3 of the way up the pitch.
@RickySacks The problem for Spurs is that they are no longer a football club. They are a football department - and just one department of many in a bigger entity. Success is now a profit margin and if resources can be redirected to a department with a better margin that’s where they go.
After a massive year with no break was great to spend the first few days of December reading @_DwayneRussell’s cracking debut novel Killing for Sport. Hoping you’ve got more literary gems in the kit bag.
@C_Frohmader@kevinbonham But it’s a different parliament. Rockliff went to the electorate and more voters (and more of them relative to 2024) chose liberal. That could sway some minds.
@PeterWMurphy1 So what you are actually saying is that ACT Labor should finally implement their commitment to establish an independent PBO for the ACT.
@cappgun3@3AWisfootball That rule is about handing it to another player during general play. That’s why it comes after the rule about throwing and before the one about bouncing every 15m.
@hurkymark@hasumpstuffedup Thy rule is about handing it to a player in general play instead of handballing it. That’s why it comes after the rule about throwing.
@petemac62 @hasumpstuffedup Free kicks are penalties against a player. At no point should they be considered as a reward mechanism. The reward for a great tackle is that you stop an opposition player from progressing the football to his team’s advantage.
@LibertyLockPod What is Haley’s role here is to make sure Trump is match fit for the general - road testing Democrat arguments and Trump’s attack and defence?
@thevoiceofspurs reckon Spurs fans could have a fair bit of fun replacing Hokey Cokey with Postecoglou with the rest of the lyrics covering positional moves and even having a bit of a dog at any well known gesticulations.
@hasumpstuffedup noting you only started on Twitter in 2021 I’d be interested in your take on the Rampe shaking the post non-decision in 2019 (EssvSyd) - was that an incorrect decision not to pay free on the goal line?
@Ryca77@apsonline@piersmorgan But did Bairstow mark the crease before or after Carey threw the ball? I think that is a key consideration missing from your position.
@StuJ87@TheSpursWatch I really don’t get the age or length of time to reach the PL argument. It assumes everyone has the same starting point - Australia is a long way from Europe. He was always going to need to spend more time in lesser leagues to get to the same point as European based managers.
Nothing says Canberra Bubble more than the lack of #RobodebtRC coverage on #Insiders. Robodebt had a devastating impact on vulnerable Australians most of whom live outside the lives and minds of the Canberra based senior APS who failed them so dismally.
The #RobodebtRC is perhaps highlighting why a Voice is needed. Plenty of bureaucrats focussed on important issues like fiscal challenges and digitising services but no one seemed to be asking “how will this affect people on the ground?” #foodforthought
