@notarob98255627 @mcuban Fischer Clinic physicians kick it old school and have admitting privileges at @WakeMed but I only know of 2 other doctors in a 50 mile radius that admit their own patients. That doesn't happen in insurance based practices and it's hard in DPC, but it's a priority for us.

@dp_oneill @mcuban We have 3 physicians, 3 clinical support staff and one intern - - compare that to insurance based practices with 6 staff per "provider" - - we are offering higher quality, more responsive care and the overall cost is less. I don't want govt subsidies, I want transparency.

@krajabi @mcuban DPC members are definitely more engaged, but they don't tend to be healthier - - at least not when they sign up. We get what we call the "reverse cherry pick" - - patients who say, "no one can figure out what is wrong with me" will you take me?

The point is that the subsidies would continue , minus $100 that you would use for a primary care doctor.

If put in place, your premiums wouldn't be going up and you would have a primary care doctor outside the insurance system

I know off hand our lab pricing for Lipid Panel at LabCorp is $4 (compared to their $96) and our A1c is also $4 (compared to their $66).
