In addition to the talks and poster presentations, we are planning to hold two workshops on how to propagate science to the general public, given by Zeptej se vědce (https://t.co/0S7umGQCw0), and on stress management and mental health in academia, given by Clément Lafon Placette.
What an amazing tool!
Now, non-coding RNA can be programmed to target specific DNA to promote insertion, inversion and excision. WOW! Congratulations to @pdhsu and his team on such a wonderful achievement! :o)

Two papers in @Nature present a new genome editing technique that enables the insertion, inversion and deletion of long DNA sequences at user-specified genome positions. The approach may provide an easier method of genome editing.

Our member Kateřina Teznerová visited European Workshop on Plant Chromatin (@_EWPC_) with her poster about Argonaute protein targeting in the RdDM pathway in Arabidopsis thaliana. Thanks to all participants of #EWPC24 for a great experience!

We are happy to share that our final version of an OpanAcces #Review - a cookbook about using #CRISPR/Cas9 in #plants with emphasis on #DNA#repair mechanisms is out. Thanks, @JXBot, for the revisions and for publishing it!

Did you know that SPT6L protein has a loooong AGO-hook? And that it is in the PolII and PolV complexes? And that it might mediate de novo methylation?
New paper from our lab is out! 😊

😼Do you want to use CRISPR in plants? Do you already use it and you are getting outputs you do not want?🤔Our review and cookbook for CRISPR/Cas9 in relation to the cell cycle and DNA repair mechanisms is out! Fig1 in better quality bellow👇
