I agree with this. I also have a hot take that when a game gets a remake, the original game should also be packaged alongside it. I feel like this would end up pleasing both sides though I know its likely never going to happen most of the time.

there's a weird mentality with remakes where people actually like the idea of something being chewed up and regurgitated for them, and they resent people who prefer the original. But it's unfounded because those recalling the original really just want the best experience for them
