@coachsadji Most of the time the root cause is genetics or irreversible injury. Unless we start allowing gene therapy or genetic engineering for humans, clinical medicine is the next best thing.
How do we improve success with precision agriculture?
The first panel at the Canola Discovery Forum (day 2 of #canolaweek2022) focussed on precision ag tech. @JoyAgnew3 leads discussion with @garth_gma, Bonnie Mandziak (Climate), and Christian Hansen (JD).
Panel on bringing in new talent to Ag from non Ag backgrounds. Lots of discussion on skills, but urban/rural cultural divide cannot be overlooked. I grew up in the city and most peers could never see themselves working in a rural location. #AgEnlightened2022
@jpgervais@FredWall To improve agriculture for future generations, Wall says, "we need all types of people from all types of industries." #AgEnlightened2022
According to panel experts, cyber security has many parallels with physical security systems and bio security systems we are learning. We are also hearing that generally, ag is behind on protection measures that guard against cyber attacks. #AgEnlightened2022
Next panel at #AgEnlightened2022 talking about the Innovation Farms which is based on @RutherfordFarms which provides a full scale operation with which to integrate and learn about modern digital ag tech.
@KristjanHebert at #AgEnlightened2022 talking about some of the limitations of farm data to support decision making including the slow response to new and changing market dynamics.
Shaking the dust off the tweet machine. At the Agriculture Enlightened Conference in Winnipeg. Very digital feel so far. Looking forward to the program. #agenlightened2022
@tootsbeanzinga I guess you could also ask whether not working on the family farm precludes them from the family inheritance. I believe in sweat equity so they probably donโt deserve the same portion but they also donโt deserve nothing. Farm work is not for everyone.
