Tonight we held a virtual book group, we still drank alcohol and talked a lot about the book. Cheers to readers, cheers to book groups, cheers to authors, things will get better. Happy Easter

With the new date for the Festival confirmed, it gives us more time to read our guest speakers books. @william1shaw which would you suggest. We like The Birdwatcher
With the new date for the Festival confirmed, gives us more time to read our guest speakers books. We like this new standalone from @Frenchnicci any suggestions from you Nicci and Sean?
The light at the end of the tunnel.... we have confirmation from all our guest speakers that they will attend the postponed festival 19th & 20th Sept 2020. Hooray and three cheers
Only last week we were intending to continue with this event, alas the tide of events has flowed against us, and with great regret, we feel, in the current climate, that we can no longer proceed on 28th and 29th March 2020.
Our preferred option is to re-schedule to autumn 2020
Some gigs have cancelled; others will. For now, @SpringHarvest is ON, @FishbourneLite1 is ON. All TBC.
I'll email more info in my MailList update later.

In this talk @miles_leeson will draw on the literature of the 1920s and suggest ways in which the literature of the past can lead us to reconsider not just the literature of our own age, but the culture in which we live
Join us or share this tweet to others who might. At our festival we have great used book sale, everything £1
And you don’t have to buy a ticket to the festival, just come along and buy a book. All proceeds to @SnowdropTrust and Fishbourne church.
Thanks
