Got some photos of the Hallway Thing, It didn't move when I was there.
I'd assume it only goes after warm things?
My body doesn't produce heat like Fishers does.

There's a lot of black liquid in the hallway.
It most likely came from it.

It was in the garden, I think Jim moved it there trying to rush to the party.
