Supervisor Ozzy Albra wants Fishkill residents to know that all playgrounds, courts and athletic fields in Town parks are closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Town parks remain open, and Sup. Albra wants to remind Fishkill residents to observe social distancing guidelines.
Town Supervisor Ozzy Albra would like to advise Fishkill residents of the following development at the Breakneck Ridge trail heads. The MTA Police have place Jersey barriers at the parking lot on MTA property, and State Parks have placed No Parking signs along the 9-D corridor.
Supervisor Albra wants Fishkill residents to be aware of Dutchess Responds, a portal to connect residents with information about help getting food, medications, household essentials and other important things during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Businesses in New York State are now eligible to apply for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan. A webinar on March 25 at 1pm will teach business owners how to apply for the aid they need.
Dutchess Stadium parking lot in the Town of Fishkill is the site of Dutchess County's COVID-19 testing facility.

The Town Board unanimously passed Local Law No. 1 of the year 2020 at the March 18, 2020 meeting.
This law establishes term limits of two (2) four-year terms for the Town Board and Town Supervisor.

Adam's Fairacre Farms (all locations) : 7-8am for 60+
Stop & Shop (all locations) : 6-7:30am for 60+
The Beacon City School District will be providing free breakfast and lunch for students in grab-and-go style bags, from two school locations: Beacon High School and South Avenue Elementary.
The Wappingers Central School District will continue its school breakfast and lunch program for children while schools remain closed.
There will be five pickup locations for families, based on where your student goes to school.
Attention Town Residents: The Wednesday, March 18, 2020 Town Board meeting will proceed as scheduled at this time. The scheduled Verizon Wireless presentation has been cancelled.
UPDATE: The Town of Fishkill Justice Court and all Court offices are closed indefinitely. All matters have been administratively adjourned until further notice.
If you have have a scheduled appearance while court remains closed, you will not be penalized for your absence.
CORRECTION:
Due to the State of Emergency due to COVID-19, the Town requests that residents pay their water bill by mail, or online using a credit card, or using the drop box in the lobby of Town Hall.
The due date for water bill payments has been extended to May 1, 2020.
The March 17, 2020 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting is cancelled due to a lack of a quorum - all items that were scheduled have been rescheduled to the next Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on April 21, 2020.
Some residents have received automated calls claiming that their water bill is overdue and attempting to collect payment. The Town of Fishkill does not have an automated call system. All communications from the Town regarding your water bill will be made in writing.
All residents are advised to use best security practices when dealing with potential scammers. Avoid giving any personal or financial info over the phone to an unverified caller. Residents who receive scam calls should contact the Town of Fishkill Police Dept at (845) 831-1110.
