@jonbeera @YDKWYDPodcast stoking the fire of the referee chat. Jon - how do you feel about referees being temporarily put on Champ/League One games as a punishment for errors in the Prem.
Feels like a huge disrespect to lower league football. League 1 shouldn’t be a “punishment”
@YDKWYDPodcast You’re right @jonbeera . You have a special club. 650 fans making a 400mile round trip on a Tuesday night, atmosphere was excellent, fans were great and your drummer is amazing.
Can see the connection between fans and players/staff after the game.
Well deserved 3 pts!
3 years ago I started listening to a new pod about David Earls new football club. Now here I am, on a wet Tuesday night, watching Exeter City at Leyton Orient listening to @AlfieIndra on Spotify in the Uber. @YDKWYDPodcast
@YDKWYDPodcast Just listened it to, excellent song, now got Alfie on rotation on Spotify.
Love the pod, and having at as an intro to @AlfieIndra ‘s music is a huge bonus.
Get out on tour boy.
@ExWHUEmployee Really good GK and a great lad. Was a shame he was released.
Watched him a lot for the 21s last year and he’s a good GK. He would acknowledge my 4yo son at the game and say hello which meant a lot to my boy. Shows his good character.
Hope he goes on to have a good career.
@OUFCOfficial Good Luck Jacob. Gutted to see him leave West Ham, watched him a lot last season in the Under 21s. Really good GK.
Used to say hello to my 4yo son when coming off the pitch. Nice touch from a great lad.
@JokesWithMark@gingerjim44 The Billericay one seems to be missing from the poster - but is on the link. About to tell my friend who lives there he HAS to go. I went to the one in Southend - the best stand up show I’ve ever been to. Everything my mums seen since is “Good…but not as good as Mark Simmons”
@mynewfootyclub Love the pod guys.
David’s empty seats come up a lot, is there another way to utilise them?
When David is in the heritage lounge, a listener wins them for that game based on that weeks competition (Most creative @jonbeera fan fiction for example)
@AlfieIndra
Cartoon in a football programme in 1980. Now we’re living this #VAR insanity.
Not even the cartoon could predict people would be sitting around for minutes on end watching the videos and/or still getting decisions wrong.
@henningwehn Id say for people mid thirties plus, it was pretty well known.
Interestingly (if it is interesting) last 6 months or so, I’ve started to see quite a few of the old clips appear on Facebook.
Love the @mynewfootyclub podcast, but the audio quality is a bit off.
Just listened to the Charlie Baker episode & it really sounds like he says Exeter will be losing against Bristol Rovers and Barnsley with no hope of a result.
Must be the audio, he can’t have been THAT wrong
