@Qaphsiel@sasha_banichek@RealPostFolder Thats a misread. Im saying its wrong that "anyone" AKA all should get half, not EVERYONE contributes or contributes equally, some are just parasites. I had added the statement "not all, but some" to hopefully make clear mine wasnt a blanket statement either.
@Qaphsiel@sasha_banichek@RealPostFolder OK, think you misread what I wrote. It wasnt just "many" it was "many of those people", talking specifically about the lazy ones that just dont want to work
@Qaphsiel@sasha_banichek@RealPostFolder If you were just giving your anecdotal PoV, so be it, but my point was that its wrong to make the blanket statement "Anyone who forgoes employment to make a home is contributing just as much as the bread winner." Thats simply not true & I dont think it should be automatically 1/2
@Patty1358@catmartinez01@didem5654 I disagree this interferes with thinking. There's at least two valid answers, 185 & 187, and there may be more. We learn the different possibilities by people explaining how they got their answer. Maybe there are even more solutions we haven't thought of yet
@sasha_banichek@Qaphsiel@RealPostFolder Disagree, i think its wrong to make a blanket statement like that. There are plenty of people who "forgo employment" because they dont want to work, its not altruism, its laziness. Many of those people do not put in the same effort as the primary earner. Not all, but some
@Qaphsiel@sasha_banichek@RealPostFolder But if you think the primary earner should always split it, man or woman, what does any of all that other stuff have to do with it?
@Qaphsiel@sasha_banichek@RealPostFolder But that contradicts your earlier thesis, you were saying the justification for women getting half is because they are giving up their youth for the man. Thats different than saying everything should be split even if its the woman that is the primary earner.
@Qaphsiel@sasha_banichek@RealPostFolder Well if youre arguing that is the remedy for men, why isnt it the same for for women? Why in your scenario do women get half of the man's assets if he does wrong, but the man only gets to separate and sue for damages? Thats different punishments for the same offense.
@Qaphsiel@sasha_banichek@RealPostFolder Im a "everyone's entitled to their own opinions, even if I disagree" type person, but can you explain what you mean by "demand justice when they are not faithful to us"? What sort of justice do you think should happen?
@hashjenni You see all the crap Trump is pulling under the extreme scrutiny that exist nowadays, what do you think past presidents were doing before the internet and before everyone had a camera in their pocket? Crime in the Whitehouse isnt at an all time high, just the crime reporting.
@notgaetti@carrymonkey You realize half the people in the world literally have below average intelligence, right? 1B was running on the outside and cut in at the last moment. Hopefully he learned his lesson
@brodus_operandy@CameronVanTil So you don't put any weight to pro bowls, all pro's, or MVPs? But I'm guessing you generally dismiss anything that goes against your narrative.
@brodus_operandy@CameronVanTil Two people can look at the same data and come to different conclusions. Thats why you actually have to make an argument. Cant believe you honestly need that explained and I think youre using "its obvious" as an excuse cause there's nothing there to back you up.
@brodus_operandy@CameronVanTil Except I wasnt judging by today's standards, having 50 more ints than TDs was bad in the 60s. I gave you a list of good HoF QBs from his time, None had more ints than TDs, let alone 50.
@brodus_operandy@CameronVanTil Also, you post a bunch of statistics but you dont say what you interpret them to mean, so youre making no argument, youre just posting pictures.
@brodus_operandy@CameronVanTil Entire case? Did you not read my post about his resume? He's a 2x SB MVP. In the entire history of the league, do you know how many 2x or more SB MVPs are not in the HoF? Only Eli Manning.
