I never understood why JEE ranks are used for hiring in the software space at all. Imagine having to study Chinese in order to be considered capable of speaking English.
Yes Chinese is harder, but just being good at Chinese doesn't mean mastery of every other language.

Out of 52k students ever enrolled, only 130 students have finished the BS programme. That is 0.25% in 4 years compared to 1.3% in a single year. And let's not forget I am talking about just the students who got in.
Nah man not on you with this... I don't think you know the curriculum... Getting into IIT has a success rate of 1.42%, and the completion rate is 94%. Which means 1.3% of all the students get their degrees.
