FISSURE update pushed.
Dashboard node selection got a major cleanup:
• Select available sensor nodes
• Configure the active node from the top bar
• Hardware settings follow the selected node
• Tactical nodes can drive selections across other tabs
#FISSURE#OpenSource#SDR
I'll be spending more time on FISSURE development in the coming months.
This week:
• Node selection integrated with the Tactical tab
• Select from all available nodes for tab operations
• Simpler sensor node configuration
• Removing the fixed 5-node Dashboard limit

#FISSURE development update:
The new Tactical tab brings together custom/offline mapping, CoT message ingestion, node and target management, alerts, artifacts, and plugin actions into a single interface.
Current work is focused on real-world geolocation testing, simplified configuration, performance improvements, and expanding the new plugin/action architecture across the framework.

Meshtastic-Sniffer is live
https://t.co/F3v70PIO4Z
Wideband passive receiver for Meshtastic LoRa. One SDR, every preset, channel, and slot in your region decoded in parallel. JSON / ZMQ / MQTT / CoT / pcap out.
Happy hunting. Mileage may vary.
Development has continued around RF sensing, EMSO workflows, TAK integration, distributed edge systems, and operational tooling built on top of #FISSURE.
We are continuing to transition these concepts into operational products, with portions planned for release into the public codebase.
The future arrives fast. To WIN IT, AFRL is evolving even faster.
We’re launching our most significant redesign in 30 years to accelerate the delivery of war-winning systems.

327 protocols. 23 automotive ciphers. New Signal Analyzer. New SDR hardware. And it plugs directly into RF Swift.
I just released tetra-rtlsdr. A single C binary that replaces GNU Radio for TETRA decoding with an RTL-SDR. Multichannel, scanner mode, web waterfall, and rtl_tcp support. Pairs with SQ5BPF’s telive2 stack. @rtlsdrblog 🫡

The FISSURE README now includes 9 white papers outlining the framework’s architecture and future use cases. We’re deep in development mode and pushing these areas forward as the project continues to evolve.
Start with the overview:

#FISSURE is evolving beyond RF reverse engineering and becoming an open source framework for sensing, remote node control, automated actions, and TAK integration. This video shows the direction we are heading, and where it goes from here is only limited by your imagination.

Just added a simple FM demodulation tool to extract bits from IQ data. The tool is a working template for anyone who wants to expand it to other modulation types. Everyone is welcome to contribute and improve #FISSURE.
At Northern Strike Industry Day, AIS demonstrated @FissureRF on @ModovoloUAV's modular 3D-printed Lift drone, a pairing that highlights ultimate flexibility for airborne spectrum operations.

We just wrapped Northern Strike at Camp Grayling - putting our technology to the test in one of the largest joint military exercises in the U.S.
We deployed a mission-ready drone payload for critical field operations and, with our partners at @AInfoSec, who successfully ran FISSURE — a cyber module built to disrupt enemy surveillance and infrastructure.
Most importantly, this event provided an invaluable opportunity to receive direct feedback from different military groups. This input is crucial as we continue to adapt and innovate our drones, ensuring our solutions are precisely what's needed on the ground.
Modular. Rapid. Adaptable. Ready for what's next.

If we can put #FISSURE on a drone, so can you. Use whatever radio, sensor, or computing hardware you want. FISSURE is built to adapt. Try it out, send feedback, and contribute to help us make it even better.
AIS, in collaboration with The Bellwether Group and Modovolo, successfully launched a drone carrying a FISSURE tactical node, marking a major milestone in demonstrating airborne cyber capabilities.

We completed our first drone flight with the FISSURE RF framework in June using a Meshtastic link with integrated GPS, USRP B205mini SDR, Wi-Fi USB adapters, and TAK integration via WebTAK.
Now testing T-HaLow radios, which offer low-power, high-throughput point-to-point links.
FISSURE makes it easy to configure playlists with triggers for dynamic drone payloads.
