At the Austrian Parliament, I met members of the Parliamentary Group for Bilateral Relations with Kosovo. We discussed strengthening Kosovo–Austria cooperation, regional developments and parliamentary diplomacy. Grateful for Austria’s longstanding support for Kosovo.

Today, I signed a new bilateral agreement with Austria’s MFA SG Nikolaus Marschik and led Kosovo’s delegation in political consultations focused on stronger bilateral ties, economic cooperation, regional developments and Kosovo’s European path.

Today, the MFA hosted a delegation from @MFAKOSOVO for political consultations.

The discussions focused on Kosovo’s deepening relations with the EU, developments in the Western Balkans, Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, and opportunities to further advance our bilateral cooperation.

Estonia and Kosovo have significantly strengthened ties in recent years, and we are looking for avenues to expand collaboration in digital development, innovation, and education. We also support Kosovo’s European perspective.

A pleasure to host Commissioner @MartaKosEU in Prishtina today in her first visit to Kosova.

Kosova is the most reliable partner in the EU accession process, with one of the highest levels of public support for EU membership in the region and beyond. I shared with Commissioner Kos Kosova's democratic progress, economic growth, and advancements in EU reforms. I appreciate her dedication to our region and her commitment to a merit-based enlargement process with EU values at the center.

41 months after we applied for EU membership, it is time for Kosova to receive its candidate status and open the accession negotiations. The EU accession process will further consolidate Kosova's democracy, increase economic growth, and improve the well-being of our citizens which is a shared goal and a mutual interest.

A historic night in Bratislava yesterday, as Kosova advances to the final of the World Cup Qualifier Playoffs. ⚽️

I thank the Slovak authorities for the excellent hospitality and the high level of security ensured throughout the match. We deeply appreciate the professionalism and care shown to our delegation and supporters.

Sport brings us together, and yesterday was a great example of that.

We welcome today’s confirmation by the @EU_Commission at the @EP_ForeignAff Committee: all EU measures on Kosova have been lifted and all previously suspended financial assistance has been released. We expect this to open a new phase of constructive engagement and concrete progress on our EU path.

We welcome the decision of @EU_CoR to discontinue the use of “Kosovo*” and its accompanying footnote in its public documents.

This step aligns the Committee with the European Parliament and reflects greater institutional clarity regarding Kosova’s European perspective.

Special thanks to Gillian Coughlan, Chair of the Kosova Working Group at @EU_CoR and Rapporteur on Enlargement, for her principled support and continued engagement on Kosova.

Today I had the pleasure of welcoming to Kosova my friend and counterpart, Albania's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs @ElisaSpiropali.

Our meetings are never just diplomatic formalities. 🇽🇰 & 🇦🇱 are two states of one nation that are bound by shared history, sacrifice, and a common European future.

We discussed deepening cooperation, strengthening coordination in foreign policy, and advancing Kosova’s path toward the EU, the Council of Europe, Partnership for Peace, and NATO.

Sot, në mjediset e #MEPJ u zhvillua takimi ndërmjet Drejtorëve politikë të Ministrisë së Jashtme të Republikës së Shqipërisë dhe asaj të Republikës së Kosovës, që mbulojnë çështjet e bashkëpunimit dypalësh, çështje të bashkëpunimit rajonal dhe të integrimit në BE.

Në nisje të takimit, Ministri për Evropën dhe Punët e Jashtme, z. Igli Hasani përshëndeti delegacionin nga Kosova, duke vlerësuar bashkëpunimin e ngushtë ndërmjet dy vendeve dhe rëndësinë e koordinimit mes institucioneve tona.

Takimi mes delegacioneve vijoi me një bashkëbisedim frytdhënës lidhur edhe me përcaktimin konkret të hapave e aktiviteteve në vijim, si në kontekstin e bashkëpunimit dypalësh dhe në atë rajonal e shumëpalësh.  Forcimi i subjektivitetit të Kosovës përmes njohjeve të reja dhe përforcimi i rolit të saj në strukturat rajonale, ishte pjesë e diskutimeve mes delegacioneve.

Pjesë e rëndësishme e bisedimeve ishte edhe vëmendja dhe koordinimi në raport me faktorin shqiptar në Rajon.
