@IHSAAtv@IHSAA1 Can you please reduce the size of the scoreboard graphic? Maybe remove the unnecessary logo. While you’re at it, can we make sure to cover wrestling on the edge of the mat? It’s getting old looking at the center of the mat with no wrestlers in the picture. Thank you.
@IndianaPreps It’s crazy how many commenters think football is the only sport or students for that matter that use these awesome facilities. Thank you @NobSchools for investing in @MillerStrength
@nut_history Amazing how many people missed the point of the movie. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to deduce the value of Mulder, Zito, Hudson, Chavez, and Tejada. Movie was about how they used analytics to replace players they lost on the budget they had and win more games without them.
@ValGalorian94@xhristopherus@cuteneka@piersmorgan I would agree that taking rights away would be hateful. Please cite the SPECIFIC right Charlie wanted taken away from someone. No generalizations. Be specific.
@indystar@RajWellnessMD Can you cite your sources on burnout/repetitive injuries so I can understand the methodology? Can you define what age groups you are referring? The whole column is anecdotal and broadly general.
@IHSAA1 could do something like this as well. It’s really not that hard. You just have to want the regular season to actually matter and reward a team’s accomplishments instead of you know… Sectional 8’ing the best teams. @IHSBCA
MORE SCOOP: The NCAA Division I Baseball Selection Committee, in 2026, will begin seeding teams 1-32 instead of just 1-16. Teams outside of the T16 will be placed in 'groups' and will then be distributed w/ continued geographical considerations, etc.
@RandyStevens94@keithnunley6 Break up Sectional 8 and see how that plays out. Imagine if they seeded the north and south and spread out the HCC teams. What do you think the semi-state would look like?

One final point:
Please stop treating assistant coaches as if they’re irrelevant.
They’re knowledgeable, involved, and deserve respect when engaging appropriately.
We are not potted plants. IYKYK. 😂

Some observations from what I’ve seen so far this spring/summer regarding umpiring.
This isn’t meant as criticism or bashing. Umpires have a tough job — and I respect that. My intent is to raise a concern that affects player development and the integrity of the game.

So what am I asking?
•Call the defined strike zone
•Handle the game fairly and consistently
•Address unsportsmanlike behavior as needed
Coaches, myself included, can also do better. This is a shared responsibility.
