It is time for Super Scotty Murray to have a testimonial.
A 6 month loan to Reading doesn't circumvent what a brilliant servant and ambassador he has been to the club.
A legend on and off the pitch and above all else a remarkable human being. I remember when I was coaching putting a little whinge on Facebook. I'd "friended" Scott years before as a kid. We'd never spoken but he responded with words of encouragement. No tags, I was surprised he even read it, let alone took the time to comment.
That doesn't even come close to the stuff he does for fans in need, providing shirts, appearances at Youth presentations, helping fans with tickets and his contributions with Matt Parsons to the food banks across the country.
Scott Murray is all that is good about @BristolCity and a testimonial would give so many across Bristol to show their gratitude.
We, as fans, should encourage the club to make this happen.
Ashton Gate, friendly against Europa League winning Aston Villa (or Liverpool?!)

For me, the biggest exclusion from the final 26 - on form - is Bournemouth’s Alex Scott. Best tempo-setting, ball-playing English midfielder of his type I’ve seen in latter stages of this season. His reaction to being left out in March speaks volumes about his mentality, too.
