We recently hosted Leehurst Swan School, to learn about our chalk streams, the importance of rivers and what invertebrates we find within our rivers. Within the kick sampling session, we found the following β burrowing mayfly nymph, cased caddisfly larve, to name a few.

Aaron and the team are doing a fantastic job removing a section of concrete revetment as part of a pilot project on the River Crane for THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES & Crane Valley Partnership. Hopefully this will be the first step in re-wilding the Lower Crane.
