A slew of issues trying to find contractors to do the work and to give quotes has been the cause of a slow moving timeline for the project.
“It’s just very slow because of the finding people to do the work" #FixConstruction https://t.co/LJ5YH7OIcv
The contractor should refer to details for proper construction techniques. However, these details were drawn by interns who have never been in the field.
How to dig yourself out of just about any hole there is: communicate. People and projects thrive on clear and consistent communication.
Even if you fall down a literal hole and are stuck, yell for help. Communication ftw!
#Construction continues to evolve as an industry, yet its perception seems to stay. With all the opportunities available, we can all work to change the narrative. What are some of the unique opportunities that people may not be aware of? - @SpecifiedP

Stucco on brick has been proven for centuries; stucco on frame walls fails so badly that it requires control joints every few feet, which is a bad fake. If you really want stucco, why not install it over brick veneer? Or ideally, mass masonry like @1000yearhouse does?
The caption mistakenly says Million. Is it a "relief" that the Construction’s labor gap is "only" 500,000? https://t.co/vV4CNMJCIt via @constructdive#FixConstruction

Sound smarter on the jobsite:
They're not "plans" or "blueprints" they're *drawings.*
"Plans" are only 1 type of drawing in a set. "Blueprints" haven't been used for 30 yrs.
They're technically called CDs, but don't call em that on the jobsite 😅🤓
Drawings. They're drawings.
Did you enjoy the #FixConstruction#podcast theme song? "Let's" was performed by Milton Busker, and he has a great new video out for "Internet Famous". It's on Facebook here: https://t.co/OkFXk1wlCD
