1) Yes, 92% own homes, but lease the land. No thanks.

2) As a % of household income, electricity cost in the US and China is about the same (2%).

3) Apparently Chinese officials don't loot their transportation projects like they do in California.

4) Average out-of-pocket healthcare cost as a % of household income in China is 9%. US is 3%.

5) As a % of household income, China spends less on water because they use much less than in the US. And water quality in the US is much higher.

It's sad that communist China is closing the cost & quality of life measures vs the United States. It's no wonder. China is moving toward free markets. US is moving toward socialism. No wonder China is catching up.
