Charity promoting biologist JEREMY GRIFFITH’s breakthrough resolution of the HUMAN CONDITION-with global support from scientists, thought leaders & the public.
FIX THE WORLD presents astonishing interview, with biologist Jeremy Griffith, where he outlines his groundbreaking explanation of the human condition – the breakthrough that finally ends suffering and fixes the world!
Hi Gary, Thank you for engaging with the content and for your considered comments. Certainly, the term ‘human condition’ is often used to simply mean, as you say, ‘we are conscious , aware of our mortality.’ Jeremy Griffith uses the phrase to mean something much deeper. In brief, he is suggesting that humans once lived in a nurtured-with-unconditional-love, cooperative, selfless and loving innocent state. When our conscious mind emerged 2 million years ago, a conflict emerged between these loving instincts and our emerging intellect. This resulted in a profound sense of guilt and shame for having ‘destroyed the magic world of our soul.’ He suggests this is what the human condition really is, and is the underlying psychological reason why life is tough for all of us to varying degrees. It follows that if we alleviate the guilt through insight (the enlightenment to use your term) into this conflict – explain why and how the ‘truth’ as to how and why humans are fundamentally good and worthwhile despite appearances - the symptoms of our condition will subside. We encourage you to have a read of this FAQ if you are inclined https://t.co/r16nvdwhk2
Leading psychiatrist says “this is the most important interview of all time, it solves the human condition, ends suffering & turmoil & finally makes sense of our lives!”
Scottish psychiatrist R.D. Laing is one of the most quoted thinkers in Jeremy Griffith's books and essays about the human condition, and for good reason, because Laing admitted how profoundly estranged or alienated we humans have become—almost completely blocked-off from the truth of the extent of our self-corruption and from the truth of the amazing and wonderful soulful real world that we lost access to when we became conscious, the human condition emerged and we had to start living deep inside Plato’s dark cave.

Hi Adrian, Thank you for engaging. Agreed the said "space crab's" are improbable. On the other hand, consider the support that is building around the world for biologist Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition, including the impressive commendations his work has received from thought leaders and members of the public, https://t.co/6E9lJjpMIz and the 80 WTM Centres that have opened across the globe https://t.co/G7JwRMD18X . To your point about a 'number of conditions' Griffith highlights the signficance of Plato's allegory of the cave, in which our common shared condition is to be in denial of reality and taking a shadows and illusions to be real. Hi Richard, Thank you for engaging. Just to clarify, Jeremy Griffith's biological treatise on the human condition is not linked to a 'supernatural god concept.' On the contrary, Griffith offers a compelling rational, demystified explanation for what various religions have termed 'God', through the laws of physics. If you are inclined you can read more here https://t.co/qqTB9DvL7h . Further, the focus of Griffith's work is to provide a rational explanation for the root pscyhological cause of the human condition and thereby heal that condition and the many symptoms such as human suffering. Hi Coley, Thank you for the considered comment. The term 'human condition' is used to mean the following “we humans once lived in a nurtured-with-unconditional-love, cooperative, selfless and loving innocent state, which the bonobo species of ape is presently on the threshold of achieving. If we stand back and think about this original cooperative, selfless and loving state and then think about how competitive, selfish and aggressive we humans are now, the contrast between the two states couldn’t be greater. And if we think about that extreme contrast and then think about the situation we have been stuck in for some 2 million years where we haven’t been able to explain our so-called ‘fall from grace’, the corruption of our original all-sensitive and all-loving, innocent instinctive self or soul, then how deeply traumatised with guilt and shame must we humans have been all that time! Certainly, we learnt to block the horror of this situation out of our mind, but that has been the underlying psychological predicament we humans have been enduring. So having had to live with this insufferable, unbearably depressing guilt and shame for having destroyed the magic world of our soul is what the human condition really is!” FAQ 1.1 (https://t.co/r16nvdwhk2),
Thank you for taking the time to engage with the introductory presentation John. The very nature of the human condition means discussion of it can be initially difficult to access. This is because historically the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad has been the most terrifying of all subjects to face, and so we have necessarily lived in almost total denial of it, which means our minds can initially struggle to hear and absorb discussion about it. This ‘deaf effect’ can be overcome with patient perseverance and everyone can access this most amazing of all gifts of understanding the human condition! See https://t.co/vy7LW1Gclg
Hi, The astonishing claims being made about Jeremy Griffith’s work do warrant initial scepticism, however the beauty of these ideas is that they are fully accountable, scientific explanations, so you can follow the logic and judge for yourself if it makes sense of existence — see WTM FAQ 1.9 https://t.co/aya8Jo5RXy. You might also like to look at the outstanding commendations Jeremy’s work has received from leading thinkers and scientists on our homepage at https://t.co/qrwkiDpe5a.
Hi Joseph, We certainly respect people’s religious views and Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition doesn’t actually contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact, Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth about human life albeit from that pre-scientific view.
To stop the disintegration of society that is happening everywhere we look, we have to 𝐟𝐢𝐱 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 of the problem which is 𝐔𝐒 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐒.

Hi Rosiebud, the psychiatrist referred to is Professor Harry Prosen, M.D., M. Sc. (1930-2021).
Prof. Prosen was a professor of psychiatry who worked in the field for over 60 years, including chairing two departments of psychiatry and serving as president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association. Professor Prosen was appointed one of 500 Specially Selected Fellows of the American College of Psychiatrists, and a Distinguished Life Member of the American Psychiatric Association. Hi Michael, A core tenet of Jeremy Griffith's work is that 'Greed' is a symptom of the human condition. Griffith explains that our nature (genetic orientation, instincts) is in fact to be cooperative, loving and empathetic (hence our morality, conscience). That a clash broke out between these instincts and our emerging consciousness (mind, intellect) some 2mill yrs ago, where in effect the instincts criticised the intellect. This produced a sense of guilt, a psychosis, a psychological insecurity about our fundamental worth. This guilt, insecurity, embattled mindset, is what is meant by the term ‘human condition’. As as a result of this psychosis, we became psychologically ‘upset’ angry, egocentric (ie competitive, selfish, materialistic, greedy) and alienated sufferers of the human condition. If we alleviate the guilt, psychosis with insight into this conflict and the outcomes – explain why and how humans are fundamentally good and worthwhile despite appearances - the symptoms of our condition will subside. For example, greed has been a psychological compensation. Remove the need for the compensation and greed will subside. We encourage you to investigate further at https://t.co/zNPqPKazTq.
Hi Thomas, Thank you for the considered comment. What you advocate is wise, fair and reasonable. Ultimately, we would suggest what you advocate is an expression of our cooperative, loving moral instincts (conscience). Our work is about explaining the root psychological cause for why as a species we don't treat each other 'kind for kind' and why the 'ulterior motives' (selfishness, anger, insensitivity), and through doing so allow that behaviour to subside. We encourage you to investigate further at https://t.co/zNPqPKazTq.
Hi Quilby, Thank you for trying to engage with our material. We suggest that the very nature of the human condition means discussion of it can be initially difficult to access. That a clash broke out between these instincts and our emerging consciousness (mind, intellect) some 2 million years ago, in which the instincts, in effect, criticised the intellect. In turn, we became psychologically ‘upset’, angry, egocentric (i.e., competitive, selfish, materialistic, greedy) and alienated sufferers of the human condition. This produces the paradox of our capacity for ‘good’ and ‘evil’.
