There is so much wrong with that statement and what Carney is really doing that I barely know where to start. Ontario Bill 5, Bill C11, Bill C9, the way the BC Ostrich farm was handled, our predatory medical system, leaking lab information, and their ability to hide it all, I could go on.

We're not* safer than the US. There are a lot of angles and variables on the word "safe". We are in a MUCH scarier place than the us (in my opinion). We are in the place of East Germany in 1940 (with the *Stasi* posse) when 'breeches' in media had people beheaded. Now the punishments are less direct. AKA money we all think is like air anyway.

That's very interesting.. Getting my gears grinding a little bit. I have two opposing theories on this. First one: you are correct and something drastic in regards to our very "knowledge" has happened since* that time of war. Indicates infiltration to be closer than we would even "think".
Second: That* time of war, people knew how the trickle-effect works.
I have heard Americans particularly not care about, in fact, appreciate the ways of Germany turning on itself. (How I would expect others to see Canada also). Just absolutely evil. And I wouldn't put it past ANY power to keep ANYTHING hidden by miscategorizing the topic to be a social issue or something that doesn't disrupt whatever ought to be transparent.
