Earlier today, I joined Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and other dignitaries at the National Mosque, Abuja, for the funeral prayer of Hajiya Fatima Ladi Binta Musa Musawa, mother of the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa.

Her passing is a painful loss to the Musawa family and all who knew her. We take solace in the legacy of faith, dignity, compassion, and service she leaves behind.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to Hannatu, the entire Musawa family, and all loved ones mourning this loss.
May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, ameen.
