@thekiwicanary It was signalled very early that if you voted for one you were going to get the other mate, Taylor’s entire campaign was based around getting McIndoe in and there was never a doubt (in my mind anyway) that Taylor would be deputy.
Which female was more deserving in your mind ??
@thekiwicanary Yeah, it’s a real head scratcher, what we’ve had definitely isn’t working (in my opinion), what we might finish up with looks pretty dodgy too.
I’m guessing that apathy will win again, voter turnout won’t be great and it’ll be more of the same same
@thekiwicanary Yeah man, we were sitting at Porritt after the final whistle thinking Northern had done it, then someone mentioned the Melville game was still going, next minute, winner reported by someone on the phone to a friend at Gower, unbelievable
@thekiwicanary Meant to say late winner for Cambridge.
Wanderers looked very pedestrian, just like they have all season, I was amazed they still had a chance at promotion going into the last game to be honest.
Didn’t expect Melville to make it either, all the results just fell into place
@thekiwicanary Did you go this afternoon mate, turned into a bit of a firecracker with cards and send offs galore, very late winner for Wanderers whilst Melville were also leaving it super late at Gower to get the job done
Wanderers discipline let them down as usual, horrendous
@irisshackleton Nice one, enjoy the constant heat. A tip for using your heat pump on other days, it’s cheaper to crank up the fan than to crank up the temp, you’ll definitely feel a difference with the fan on a higher level but at the same temp
@irisshackleton Always good to get the retention team, they’re the ones that have the authorisation to give discounts/freebies to keep your business. I get hold of ours every year for power, gas, internet and Sky. I got a 5% discretionary discount on our power for 3yrs for a 16% total discount
@irisshackleton Make sure you ask for all discount possible, being on a fixed term, dual fuel (power & gas), getting invoices by email, paying by direct debit and then anything discretionary you can get. We also got a $200 re-signing credit and get free power shouts (50 hrs currently stacked up)
@irisshackleton Still seems very high, our last 30 day account for both power and gas was only $231, 3 adults, 200sq house, heat pump was used almost daily, lots of washing (cold), dishwasher on every day, lots of showers
This month it’s going to be $240, 1 adult home all day every day
@irisshackleton Do you have a smart meter. If not, is that an actual or estimated cost. If it’s estimated it’ll still be calculated on the usage of the previous owners. As time goes by it’ll become more accurate as it learns how much you’re using
@irisshackleton I just typed in “why is there a date limit for the warm home subsidy” and several reasons and rationale popped up, can’t link it here for some reason but it does give some answers why there’s a cut off, bummer
@irisshackleton Our old one just blew tepid air, tech said it had lost all gas and wasn’t worth fixing due to its age. The replacement unit is incredible, heats or cools quickly, very economical to run. We’ve been in the minuses for a few nights/mornings and no problems at all
@irisshackleton Lose a small bit of skirting on both sides, you can already see the space you’ll gain by the gap which is visible on the unit to the left. It’ll take a handy person about 2 mins to cut through the skirting and pop it off, nobody will ever notice it
@chrishipkins I got an email from my Drs a couple of days ago, despite this being the time of year they can increase fees, guess what, no increase at all this year, not getting any less where I’m enrolled
