@EastMidRailway sat up in the luggage rack on my journey from Ely to Nottingham - multiple people standing, luggage everywhere, in the aisles, on the seats.. a massive health and safety risk.. this is simply not acceptable and also having to pay for the experience 😡

@RyanairPress simply horrific treatment boarding my flight. My small compact Ortovox bag did not fit by a couple of cms in the Ryanair sizing crate. Charged £60
extra. For the mountain community these bags cannot be used as a small carry on bag @ortovox please spread the message

This is tragic, especially as the resort authorities have being doing their utmost to restrict the movement of those in resort - risk 5/5 = ski area is shut & this also often includes roads & surroundings. I attended an avalanche rescue in such a scenario - it was very complex

I work in risk control and advocate a reliable insurance policy therefore I have to speak out & advise strongly not to take a policy out with @MacifAssurances They have provided such a poor service, especially to my father who has been insured with them for more than 30 yrs

@ProfBrianCox I’ve just watched ‘Ice Worlds’ in the resort I’m working in ski rescue. My world rotates around snow in its many forms, especially when it causes us issues in the form of avalanches. I found the documentary simply fascinating. Thank you for such insight 🙏❄️

More deaths today in an avalanche in Val d’Isere. Risk 4 over 5 - does that not scream enough at people “remain on the slopes or in terrain where the risks are lower”. & WEAR A TRANSCEIVER!!! It costs less than an I Phone but can help save your life!

Signs are not difficult to read & respect, they are there to help you manage risk…put in place by ski patrol whose job it is to help reduce risk & keep us safe on the slopes. Help teach your children to read them & understand what they mean. Education is key to empower⚠️

A friend’s ski this week damaged beyond repair - imagine if his leg had taken the shock when the person collided with him on a slope. If you are involved in a collision ALWAYS get the ID and contact details for ALL involved. Take photos if possible.
