@caniacally@__BY9FC Yeah when I renewed mine this year it was about $600 for the season for parking but nobody does it thankfully, with these new plans coming to ABA I don’t see this lasting to much longer
@CatsandCanes@__BY9FC@caniacally I doubt it, say what you want about the panthers and their fans but the per game price only went up a little like $20 more. However the STH price went up 150% after both cup wins, my seats now are $2100 each which were about $850 before
@PuckIQ_OFFICIAL@barkovmemes Cheap tickets ≠ no one going. Toronto’s would be significantly cheaper if corporations didn’t have the majority of season tickets same goes with other teams in big cities .
@caniacally I have no idea why leafs fans think it’s a flex. yeah I love big corporations being the majority of STH. Like Lonovo center is one of the loudest arenas in the league because they don’t have a bunch of companies having all of their seats 😭😭😭
@LO_FLAPanthers I love it we are one of the only teams in the nhl without direct connection to bars or any nightlife even Tampa has us beat. Definitely don’t like the office stuff but other then that it is perfect and everyone complaining about parking the urban flex is going to be game parking
I don’t understand why everyone opposes this. We are one of the few arenas without any watch party or outdoor venue area this will only encourage more people to come and support the team #timetohunt
🚨 BIG PLANS AROUND AMERANT BANK ARENA
Broward County has submitted plans that could transform the 154-acre area surrounding the Florida Panthers’ home into a massive 24/7 mixed-use destination.
The proposal could include:
🏠 1,400 apartments
🏨 600 hotel rooms
🏢 1.62M sq. ft. of office/education space
🛍️ 300K sq. ft. of commercial space
🌳 New green & public spaces
🚌 Transit hub with express service to Miami
Amerant Bank Arena would remain, with much of the development replacing portions of the current parking lots.
The Panthers say they’re in the early stages of discussions with Broward County and Sunrise.
Sunrise City Commission will consider the land-use changes on August 11.
Could the Panthers eventually have their own arena district? 👀🐆
