@Truth_matters20 So when Jesus said "You must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." In - Mat. 5:48 everybody, He meant like Danny. Because, heaven-forbid if he were to pass right now he would be VIP through the pearly gates because he believes and is obviously a paragon of perfection.

He knows the end from the beginning. He has the Eucharist front and center in His mind. He knows exactly what He's saying and He means it.

I recommend dusting yours off and reading it. It's the central crux of Christianity and IMHO the focal point of all time.

Judas said "no", then killed himself. The 5,000 said "no" at Capernaum and walked away. Heck even Satan believes in Jesus, yet he is not saved.

Jesus knew what He was doing. Priests are necessary for the paschal sacrifice of the Lamb. Then the other sacraments.

It can't be misunderstood by Catholics. There hasn't been any time in history where this teaching was any different than it is today.

@hookskat There is only one church that still worships God the way He asked to be worshipped since the beginning of the Bible. The Catholic Church. Blood sacrifice for the redemption of Sin on an altar. Not even Jews do this anymore. It is literally the entire reason for His incarnation.
