@Dzikhead I don't think he even went to Charlotte? I'd think they'd want to get him some game swings before bringing him back into the fold, but I guess we'll see
@soxmachine_josh@jeremylatzke He feels like a real big bust risk. Wouldn't someone like Dylan Bowen fit the draft profile of Getz? Middle IF and Area Code Games
@OptimistSox Considering how little they gave up, this is a good flier pickup. He's almost like a Vargas-type who hit in the minors then just didn't have it in the show. Give him some ABs in Charlotte, call him up after they trade or cut Benny lol
@NBalitewicz@jacobinfante24@PFSN365 There's at least 2 other centers on all decades teams that aren't HOFers. Alex Mack and Mark Stepnoski. Pouncey is too but he's just now eligible.
@ThatWsoxfan@JRFegan I feel like this is Schultz not adding enough strength in his upper legs. Yeah, he felt better in camp and to start the year, because his legs rested all offseason. This was inevitable without adding a lot of functional strength.
@TripleAJeff I'm constantly checking up on him to see what he's up to, but it's been so hard to get any real information for a couple years now. His bat before the injury looked pretty advanced.
@soxmachine_josh The problem that I see with *just* those three is CF. Sure, Braden can play there, but are we going to push a rookie prospect to switch positions when he'll need to be focusing on adjusting to MLB pitching? I agree maybe not Trout or Bux, but a cheap vet might be worth it
