This bill in WA gets worse...NEW amendment!!

SB 5068 allows non-citizens to be LEOs.
*Refugees
*Asylees
*Temporary Protected Status
...all can be cops, enforcing laws, arresting citizens.

🚨New Amendment by the bill cosponsor, Senator Lovick EXPANDS eligibility, making it retroactive (hello, Seattle!), includes new RCW sections and it adds an EMERGENCY clause, making it take effect immediately upon signing.

The bill is on the Senate Floor calendar to receive a vote tomorrow, 1/21. (*Reminder: last session all republicans voted YES for this)
