I guess I don't even think of the guys as "idols". I think they're past that point. Either way, I would expect them to do things exactly the way *they* want to do them. We work hard to make them untouchable for a reason, & one of them is to protect them from toxic fan attitudes.

First, I don’t believe there is a problem with BTS’s current communication methods.

I know they’re in a tough situation due to touring, they spend a lot of time away from Korea, and they’re busy with ambassador activities and various schedules. I also know that the members are working hard in their respective positions.

And I don’t think this is a separate issue from how they communicate with fans.

BTS is way beyond an idol group.

While I agree that communication with fans is an important part of being an idol, like any profession, responsibilities shift in priority depending on what the job requires at that moment. Right now, their biggest responsibility is the tour aka performing for and connecting with fans night after night in person. Not to mention all the projects, ads, and ambassadorships they’re doing. Communication doesn’t only count when it comes through a livestream, a post, or an app.

On communication of 7 grown men. You need to do a lot of self reflection and why you ONLY see them as a kpop/idol group and not as people with lives that aren't their fans that they have proven in loving and adoring in multiple ways that isn't just words

I've had 11 years w BTS and I've spent the last 9 trying to rid them of the kpop/idol image. They're growth and musical talent is not of idols. And their communication is just fine we must also understand they aren't the teenagers they once were and have more responsibilities
