He has no quip for that. She’s… irresponsibly crude. Rough around the edges. Not that he ain’t but —— it’s different.

“Ya sure, Erza? I dunno if that’ll ever work. Guess you can try…”

[Lena • 🥀 @_Winter__Owl]

⠀⠀⠀

`` I did think of it —— that's a default response after all ; but my resolution is to be softer this year . ``

And she's looking forward to failing it soon .

⠀⠀⠀

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

“I ain’t doubtin’ you Erza, just thought you might do the slamming my head into your chest plate thing.”

[Lena • 🥀 @_Winter__Owl]

⠀⠀⠀

`` isn't saying it enough ? eeehh —— since when were you so cynical ? or wait , you doubt me ? ``

cue a dramatic gasp .

⠀⠀⠀

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

“Stop yawnin’. . . it’s the middle of the day!!!”

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

“That so? Yet ya won’t even show me how much you did!”

[Lena • 🥀 @_Winter__Owl]

⠀⠀⠀

`` I actually missed your silly face . ``

⠀⠀⠀

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

Damn, he hit his head and ended up back here again… the heck happened?

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

Damn right he’s determined!

He’ll make ‘er a lot more than ticklish. For every reason in the book. Wherever, whenever.

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

Eh?! Nah, he’s comin’ over to her right now and they’re doin’ whatever the hell she meant!

Right now!

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

He can seemingly detect those gleamin’ eyes of hers bearing down on ‘im.

She should stop hidin’… come out and face him.

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

After mullin’ over this a few times… he ain’t got a clue what a collaborate is.

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

Zoinks man…

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

Halting in front of the apparent cellar door, soles rocking his chiseled frame back.

“Nah, it was made and given to me. Given to me by Igneel… the dragon that raised me.”

Proceeding in behind her without another word. He’s unusually antsy for some wine.

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

“Belserion,”

He repeated briefly.

“Eileen Belserion. Alrighty.”

Keeping his words compact, drifting into thought of whether he introduced himself too. He completely forgot.

“Did I mention that I’m Natsu? Pretty sure I did.” Unknowingly he spoke, with this unfortunate case ++

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

damn place actually was.

Seems she got a craving this time too. Natsu himself doesn’t crave alcoholic drinks but he ain’t one to be denying good hospitality.

Whatever was bugging her about his attire, Natsu was noticeably waiting for Eileen to speak her mind.

++

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

“Yeah lady. I got a heck of a lotta questions. Like yer name. Ya ain’t even told me it yet! I dunno anything about you yet.”

Completely ignorant of her detail remark. He’s about ready for this damn wine.

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

Surprised? He’s an adult man coming off of long treks from missions because of his large refusal to take trains. They’re draining walks. He’d rather entertain a drink, being the adult he is.

He wasn’t there to be impressionable. It isn’t ingrained into his persona. Natsu is ++

[ᴅʀᴀɢɴᴇᴇʟ. @FlamedVolition]

She sure became a lot shorter after her disrobing of the extra accessories.

Scarf swaying with each rumbling step he took, mimicking the elder’s every movement. Whatever she did, he seemed to follow. That familiarity creeping into his senses again. ++
