OPERATION HADIN KAI TROOPS CRUSH ISWAP INFILTRATION ATTEMPT IN CROSS KAUWA, INFLICT HEAVY LOSSSES
Preliminary Forensic Findings Point to Foreign Facilitators Behind Failed Attack
Troops of 19 Brigade, Sector 3, Joint Task Force North East, Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), have decisively foiled an attempted ISWAP infiltration into Cross Kauwa, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, inflicting heavy casualties on the attackers and forcing them to retreat in disarray. The failed attack occurred at about 2220 hours (10:20 p.m.) on 11 July 2026, when the terrorists attempted to exploit the cover of darkness to breach the troops’ location. Alert troops swiftly detected the hostile movement and responded with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, compelling the terrorists to abandon their mission of looting cholera medical supplies and withdraw after suffering severe losses. The attempted looting further lends credence to recent intelligence reports of a cholera outbreak within terrorist enclaves, as well as reports of the execution of some infected members by the group.
The neutralisation of a terrorist cameraman during the failed assault led to the recovery of a Sony camcorder containing highly sensitive recordings of terrorist activities, including operational footage and propaganda materials. Preliminary forensic analysis of the last available video recorded before the attack indicates that the operation was coordinated by four senior ISWAP commanders (Qai’ds) alongside three foreign terrorist facilitators: a Palestinian Arab identified as Abu Ishaq, assessed to be ISWAP’s overall trainer; a Moroccan Arab identified as Abu Thaiba, a medical doctor serving within the terrorist network; and another Arab operative whose identity is yet to be established. Their presence and active involvement further reinforce intelligence assessments that ISWAP continues to benefit from external support, specialist expertise and transnational terrorist linkages.
Following the successful engagement, troops immediately dominated the area and conducted exploitation operations to ascertain the full extent of the terrorists’ losses. During the operation, troops recovered the Sony camcorder, several rounds of PKT and 7.62 mm Special ammunition, terrorist uniforms and other combat enablers. Initial analysis of post-engagement satellite imagery revealed terrorists evacuating the bodies of some of their neutralised fighters during their withdrawal, a finding corroborated by credible human intelligence sources, which confirmed that the terrorists suffered heavy casualties, while many others sustained gunshot wounds. Two soldiers were wounded during the firefight and were promptly evacuated by air for advanced medical care. Both personnel remain in stable condition.
The failed infiltration represents another major operational setback for ISWAP and caps a costly weekend for the terrorist group following sustained offensive operations and intensified military pressure across the North East Theatre. The outcome underscores the increasing difficulty the terrorists face in executing coordinated attacks against highly alert and combat-ready troops, while further degrading their combat capability, morale and freedom of action. Operation HADIN KAI remains resolute in sustaining offensive operations, protecting vulnerable communities and dismantling terrorist networks until lasting peace and security are fully restored across the North East.
AIR COMPONENT OPHK SUSTAINS COUNTER-TERRORISM GAINS AS FRESH STRIKES SHATTER TERRORIST ENCLAVE IN BORNO
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), through the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has recorded another major operational success with precision air strikes that devastated a terrorist enclave at Yaganari in the Gezuwa general area of Borno State on 10 July 2026. Acting on credible intelligence on renewed terrorist activities and the concentration of fighters in the area, the Air Component conducted intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions which confirmed the presence of terrorist structures and logistics hubs. The targets were subsequently engaged in a series of precision strikes, leading to the destruction of terrorist infrastructure and the neutralisation of several terrorists. The successful operation further underscores the growing pressure being mounted on terrorist elements, whose freedom of movement and ability to regroup continue to be severely degraded by sustained air offensives.
You’re a canadian citizen and you came into Nigeria without VISA and you expect Nigerian immigration not to deport you.

Peter obi has further shown that he wants to divide Nigeria and he does not condemn IPOB.
Infact he further claims they are his brothers, meanwhile these souls that IPOB has taken away are still waiting for justice.

I have never seen these kind of audacity before.
Since the 1990s, Atiku Abubakar has faced a long list of public criticisms and controversies that have shaped the perception of the public about him:
1. Business and Customs Allegations: His years in the Nigeria Customs Service attracted allegations of corruption and improper enrichment.
2. 2006 Panel Reports: The 2006 administrative panel set up under President Obasanjo accused him of financial misconduct related to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
3. USA Legal Issues: Atiku appeared in U.S. Senate reports on foreign corruption investigations in the 2000s. Congressman Jefferson was jailed in 2009.
4. Election Losses: Atiku is a serial election loser. Since 1993, he has contested or attempted to contest multiple presidential primaries and elections without success. He simply does NOT have national appeal.
5. Political Cross-carpeting: Atiku has a long history of switching parties. He has switched from PDP, ACN, APC, PDP again and now to ADC. This is clear evidence of political inconsistency. Also, Atiku’s political views shift depending on political alliances.
6. Privatisation Criticisms: His role in Nigeria’s 2000s privatisation programme has been criticised for favouring political associates.
7. Internal Breakdown of PDP: The G5 governors’ rebellion during the 2023 election cycle is evidence of fractured leadership and inability to unify A party.
Across three decades, these controversies have shaped how Atiku Abubakar is viewed. He is a politician burdened by longstanding allegations, internal party conflicts, and repeated electoral DEFEATS. Atiku Abubakar is 81 years old. His time has passed. He has been REJECTED several times by Nigerians. He should go and rest. #WhoIsAtikuAbubakar
Peter obi always comes out in defending IPOB terrorist, he’s a terrorist sympathizers and no sympathizers should be given the barton to lead this country.
Peter Obi is not consequential in the scheme of things as regards the 2027 presidential election. He is not even a contender. He is a pretender. No need to bring him down because he is already down. - Kenneth Okwonkwo

Fellow Nigerians
Today, we celebrate democracy and the enduring Nigerian spirit. For 27 unbroken years, since May 29, 1999, Nigerians have chosen their leaders through the ballot, witnessed peaceful transitions of power, and resolved disagreements in courtrooms and legislative chambers—not through violence. We have experienced the longest stretch of civilian rule in our history. Our democracy is not perfect, but it is ours, and we must continue to defend and strengthen it.
