Day 1 of Season 3 in Tekken 8 has been eventful. Lili has been promoted to Bushin rank and both Clive and Reina to Raijin rank. Things are going well with Lili, decent with Clive - despite the nerfs, and not so great with Reina (unfortunately, ha-ha). Always room for improvement and there's still a year left for things to get better tho!

How do people do it? Just got done with a Tekken 8 (Season 3) session this morning for first impressions - but this is an insane amount of data to be editing for one person. I’ll be providing an update regarding the experience here soon when i sort out all this data… lmaø!

It’s slight sarcasm - from a player perspective; but it’s somewhat serious from the “developer” perspective.

The intent of rationalizing WHY they decided to make those changes for her is based upon the patch notes.

On paper that’s what it seems, but in practice (ranked) I don’t think it necessarily works out like that.

I suppose you could say that Lili is the back turn mix-up specialist type of character in season 3 of Tekken 8.

I've decided to drop a clip of a PERFECT round from my Promotion chance match as a preview of what to expect when the development of the YT vid is finally complete.

It'll be some amount of time before releasing a "Journey through Tekken Emperor" type of video is ready for release regarding the recent promotion to T.G. rank with "Lili" in Tekken 8.

What really matters - above all else so far - is that I accomplished making it to the rank of "Tekken G-d" (a.k.a., "Tekken Lord") in Tekken 8 as my main "Lili."

The algorithm thought it was being funny having me face somebody who had almost 400,000 Tekken Prowess, but that didn't deter us from obtaining our promotion.

In fact, the match before this one I had to face a Bryan main who had 100 Offense - so you could say I was prepared for whatever could happen during this set!

I almost forgot to include mentioning getting my 3rd "Clive Rosfield" in Tekken 8 to the rank of "Tekken King."

Funny enough, considering I regard this FF XVI character as my 3rd in Tekken 8 - I got "Clive Rosfield" to the rank of "Tekken King" slightly before my secondary "Reina."

From what I recall, I got "Clive Rosfield" to the rank of "Tekken King" on January the 29th of 2026. I basically had to win 13 games in a row to achieve the rank of "Tekken King."

Nevertheless, it would be the same week that I got my secondary "Reina" to the rank of "Tekken King" as well!

So, it looks like I haven't updated this page in a while - so here's an update.

A month ago, on February the 1st - I was able to get my secondary "Reina" promoted to the rank of "Tekken King."

I was pretty stoked about this, as her playstyle is very different from "Lili." As "Lili" is on the far side of the defensive playstyle, "Reina" is on the far side of an offensive type of playstyle; almost polar opposite you could say (IMO).

So I was thinking about it; while Reina is the first “Mishima” like character I’ve gotten proficient at, Angel (from along time ago) technically had the Mishima fighting style).

So, the new Ace Combat will be out in 2026. Makes me want to revisit Ace Combat 7 for an entire play-through on Ace mode all over again before it’s out.

Before I did YouTube videos I used to produce, record, and mix my own music.

I’ve always wondered, who genuinely loves mixing tracks for things? Always found it somewhat tedious and difficult to focus on that type of thing for long durations of time TBH.

Been forever since I posted but here’s the update. Working on the Promotion/Path to Tekken Emperor video with Lili.

Almost done with it, just adjusting the voice for voiceover. After that I plan to work on the path to Bushin videos for Reina.

Been mostly playing Wildcard this Season in Apex Legends - so, at least for the Raise H3ll event we got the “King of Demons” badge right before Halloween.

After obtaining a small win streak of 7 games in Ranked mode of Tekken 8 - I got my 3rd “Clive Rosfield” (from Final Fantasy XVI) promoted to Bushin rank.

There was a lot to learn about how to play this character properly, but I believe that knowledge is starting to pay off.

My secondary “Reina” (Bushin) is starting to catch up to my main “Lili” (Tekken King) in Tekken 8 Ranked mode.

After nearly a year since I've ordered the Reina plushie from Good Smile - it has finally arrived this weekend!
