@sainsburys Four phone calls and two hours later I'm actually getting somewhere thanks. With the cost of living crisis you need to process refunds immediately if is the store's fault, people need to eat and can't just go out and buy more food.
@sainsburys your customer service is appalling. Missing over £80 of food on my delivery as store don't seem able to load correctly but have to wait 5 days for a refund. Not good enough.
I'm doing a free giveaway to celebrate the publication of my latest book! Like and retweet to enter (UK only). Winner announced on Sunday. Link to find out more about the book below. #freebie#giveaway
@lizjonwilltom@samandjoel0305@professor_dave Secondary mainstream is really challenging for ND students who might have been able to manage in primary, we need an alternative to huge 1500 on roll secondaries with multiple transitions and 5 different teachers in a day.
@mrszstuart@professor_dave@JoSoHappy83 The problem is there is some good provision in some LAs - SEND provision needs to offer the same across the country, at the moment there is very little and it is a lottery. Currently mainstream schools are on their needs trying to support really complex needs.
@MBDscience I covered a class where there were a large amount of students having various passes, a lot for the toilet. The lesson was unreachable. Over 50% of the class could not have had medical toilet issues.
@BBCWomansHour 2/2 placement in specialist provision. Mainstream schools are having to cater for increasingly complex needs and the situation is not sustainable.
@BBCWomansHour I'm a SENDCO and would say the systems are over complicated, dysfunctional and cause heartbreak for parents and huge challenges to school communities. Mainstream education does not suit every child and the system is failing children who are lawfully entitled to seek 1/2
@tombennett71 I think parents are also a large part of this, a lot seem to let their children stay at home and call in citing "anxiety" and seem unable to set boundaries and expectations.
@Lookinupatstars Look at getting subjects re marked where they are a grade lower. School should be able to access the mark breakdown that tells them the marks for each section. Look at courses that will lead her to her interests - there are some really interesting choices out there
@SharonP73803030 @_ACC94 @Terrabang_ Be careful with magnesium, it can act as a stimulant if natural levels are not raised and can be dangerous if high quantities taken. I found it made my mind race when I took it.
