I actually have a tiny little bit of a theory that the increase in autism is at least partly due to vaccines...but not for the reasons anybody thinks.

(Spoiler alert for anyone getting scared at this point: vaccines don't cause autism, vaccines cause adults.)

@brent_waggoner A mother friend of ours had all three with her out in a pram desperate to have on normal experience not being harassed. She went to a local cafe and had such awful cutting comments from a customer that she turned out around and walked out in tears.,.

@HackedOffHugh By threat of slander and false accusations, on top of very scary other behaviours. No police interest - civil supposedly? But it would take up to 50k to pursue it, irrespective of the evidence I have or corroboration. And that means there is nothing I can ever do.

@HackedOffHugh Completely understanable. Irrespective of one’s personal finances. Sadly justice is too often a privilege of those sufficiently wealthy, by comparison, to pursue it. I recently had a very much cheaper set of circumstances involving, in my view, an attempt at extortion.
