OU fans: This guy organized a drive for OU Children’s Hospital last year when Tenn came to Norman.
It’s time to return the favor!
Go to the UTVolShop website and order some gear, enter the code below at checkout, & it will get taken to the children’s hospital there!
Boomer!
@BluesteinLinda After becoming dangerously thin, I was only able to gain weight back when I started Cromolyn. If it lose it altogether I’m back to bland chicken and rice. Scares me that I depend so much on a medication
@emmiskyten@LossesRealized@BrainInflCollab Thanks! I’ve listened to pretty much everything he’s put out. Hes been on a few great MCAS podcasts like Mast Cell Matters with Tonia Dempsey also
@LossesRealized@BrainInflCollab I was put on Pepcid/Zyrtec 2x day first. We added a DAO, Cromolyn Sodium & Quercetin. Anxiety/Depression/Heavy brain fog=gone. During flares, I do SIGHI diet(low histamine), more vagus nerve stimulation&add 2000mg Vit C, Magnesium & Stinging Nettle.
@DiaryofaSickGrl hEDS here, I have Adhesive Arachnoiditis of the lumbar spine from an epidural steroid injection gone bad. It could likely paralyze me at the rate it’s going. No cure at this point just mega steroids to control flares.
@PaulGadsden82 It took about 3 months at my target 4.0 dose to notice major differences. Now, if I go more than a couple days without it, I realize how much it’s actually helping. That being said, it just doesn’t work for some folks unfortunately.
@OnlyEnnui@Alina_MSN_RN I’m not a Dr so I’m not sure exactly how but it’s a known mast cell stabilizer. My Immunologist said he read several published medical studies about it & it’s been pretty successful with his patients
@BluesteinLinda I was just dx with Adhesive Arachnoiditis today. I have hEDS, pots & mcas. My neurologist thinks it was due to an epidural steroid injection or a lumbar puncture when they were looking for MS years ago before my hEDS dx. New podcast subject? 🫶
