One pattern u can consistently observe is that the more intelligent someone is, the more prone they are to laziness, and therefore, as an extension, the stronger their inclination toward gambling, shortcuts, and asymmetric bets.
The qualities you want to seek in a partner in today’s world are appreciation and contentment with themselves.
Because if they are not, they will constantly look for overpriced gimmicks, which only reflect the void they live from within.
And you will be on the wrong end of it.
And I think brilliance is the easy part. Structure, that's the mountain. To do something repeatedly, consistently, and adequately takes a lot more than inherent nature. Brilliance without structure will always be potential, which gradually mestasizes into regret.
This reflects a cultural inversion where traditional deep reading no longer predicts real-world achievement compared to fragmented digital media habits.

The biggest RED FLAG in a partnership business is to glorify "brotherhood" rather than "Transparency and Accountability".

Wealth is transient. What previous generations considered as wealth are no longer important to future generations. I had a deep conversation with a relative recently. His parents are wealthy by Nigerian standards but he is not at all interested in what they have as he has seen better out there in the world.
He said that others are thinking about investing in NVIDIA and other semiconductor companies, his parents are thinking of Nigerian assets in an economy with constant devaluation due to inflationary pressures.
One of my in-laws explained it clearly to us at a family meeting a couple of years ago. Your African assets have to constantly earn above the local inflation rate or else you are digging a hole and not building generational wealth.
It made me realize that most of the families we consider as those with generational wealth were either fortunate to be in the right geography and with little conflict, or have derisked everything with a global presence.
My late grandmother did her bit with trading and opening a restaurant. Her son tried to do better with land acquisitions, and I am doing something totally different from both in tech. I don't know what my children will do in future, but the best thing my grandmother did with her wealth was to provide her children with education. Knowledge is the true generational wealth. It helps to open up opportunities.
