June is #AlzheimersandBrainAwarenessMonth.
More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and 1 in every 3 older adult dies with Alzheimer’s or another #dementia.

1/2 Happy to share our new #OpenAccess transdiagnostic review of accelerated #TMS- To date, it appears safe, effective, and there's vast parameter space to explore (# sessions/day, total sessions, individualized targeting, etc.).

I think this is so important for anyone going through the process to understand. Once you get to the interview portion it really mainly is about fit. Last year I applied to 15 programs, got 3 interviews, 2 rejections then was pulled off the waitlist here at UGA. Don’t give up!
I love seeing people more open about struggles along the journey
PhD rejections:
UC San Diego
Vanderbilt University
Washington University in St. Louis
PhD Acceptance:
UC Irvine
I used to be embarrassed about this but it really only takes ONE 🙌🏾 and I am thriving ✨

Navigating #ClinicalNeuropsychology can be a confusing process!
The good news is that you don't have to do it alone. SCN's Education Advisory Committee offers 45min consultation to students/trainees to answer questions about CN specialization

Students in an online class were told they had one of these 2 TAs. But behind the scenes, @EmilyKhazan, left, fulfilled TA duties for all 136 students. When student evaluations came in, though, guess which TA scored higher? #WomeninScience#womeninstem https://t.co/3zje5Fiq89
It has never been more important than now for academic and scientific research to be properly communicated to both expert and wider audiences. My latest book with Jane Tinkler provides 400 pages of suggestions for getting that done.

'Even before the pandemic, too many people were left in limbo, misdiagnosed, or passed from pillar to post. Now is the time to press reset & put in place consistent diagnostic services across the country.'
