Reviewing the #COVID19 data I've got, the stories you can pull out of this are fascinating
Worldwide and USA collections both peaked early January, 2022. A resurgence of the virus in late 2021, right before holidays, meant a LOT of people got infected when they travelled, and they tested soon after
@notkevinzhang We're building internal LLM judge/eval tools for our existing radiology report generation tools. This would be very exciting to try!
We've also got PMs with a LOT of ideas for how this could be used, both internally and as part of our product suite
The Bitcoin subreddit is absolutely heartbreaking right now.
So many people have been destroyed.
I recommend having a look because it gives you a different perspective compared to X.
Really sad.
@GiggyDaBomb My favorite kind of matches tbh
I was really sad when they patched the backfill bug where the MMR was totally off, I'd get put into a gold/silver lobby and win 1v5s on tank. Not fun for everyone else but I had a great time
Profoundly wrong!
@pydantic has been remote since day one, and we're absolutely humming.
We think it's a strength, not a weakness for many reasons:
* Better people to hire - we recruit from one hemisphere, not one city
* We save the equivalent of 20 days a year by not requiring our team to commute
* Lower salaries for the same standards of living for the team
* Less poaching since most people share @signull's delusion
* Finally, AI is making the difference bigger, the recording and transcript are important artifacts of meetings, so video calls are better than in person meetings
