I said no as they had plenty of time to make the correct decision. They get pissy until I win the round. He then tells me that he could have won if he found something other than the stadium. If it was locals, I would have let him but it's a challenge, people need to act their age
Another bad Pokemon experience. Drive an hour for a BO1 challenge, my round 2 opponent uses noctowl and spends 2-3 minutes searching then pulls out Crispin and a stadium. They play Crispin and when Crispin resolved they asked if they could take the stadium back for something else
I understand I wasnt playing a fan favourite deck but I still believe that doesn't facilitate the right for ANYONE, even a judge to comment on my deck choice during a match.
Over the weekend at Brisbane regionals, I played a Crustle. Game 2, I paired slop box. During this game, a judge walked over unprompted and said "Are both players having fun?" I strongly believe for a judge to comment MIDGAME about it is extremely unprofessional.
@TripleBtcg Thanks man, it was a pleasure meeting you! We enjoyed being whimsical so much that we already have something a little more magical prepared for the next regionals we attended.
4-3-1: 311th at Melbourne Regionals with this pile of cards. As this is the deck that got me back into Pokemon close to a year ago (and due to little time to test), I landed on this. Had a blast because I was just there to be a little whimsical. Next regionals, I'm making day 2!
Haven't played the TCG in over 2 months, the night before a challenge decided that I'll go.
Build Joltik Gholdengo, play some games on ladder then go to sleep.
Wake up, realise I'm not confident with that deck grab a deck built last time I played, adjust for current format.
