@AmcerberusI@holyitadori "Durability on par with Ryu" you know what man you got it. It's clear Maki is your favorite character and your biased towards your queen spouting nonsense like this. Her greatest feat is beating the same guy twice. Have a great rest of day man.
@AmcerberusI@holyitadori You talk like Yuta wasn't training at all after he became a sorcerer. Geto wanted Yuta to SUMMON Rika, he can't absorb her if she's not present.
Also Choso couldn't get a single hit off of Kenny until Yuki came. I'll say again, Maki loses to EVERY special grade in the verse.
@AmcerberusI@holyitadori Yuta was a special grade when he fought Geto. That "extreme diff" only happened because 1. Geto still wanted to capture Rika. 2. Geto didn't have his entire army of curses with him. I don't understand why people overhype Maki when we're shown the crazy potential of cursed energy.
@AmcerberusI@holyitadori Yeah. He wouldn't waste time playing with her since she's not a sorcerer so he would 100% kill her the first chance he gets. Geto only died because Yuta had something as powerful as Rika. He mid diffs her with his army of cursed spirits.

@Sole_Senpai@PlayStation They are not blood related. If anything Sabertooth forced Logan to be his new "brother" after Logan killed someone he knew. Regardless, I dont like what Insomniac is doing. Company is filled with nothing but weirdos.
Akademiks is hitting on the same point I’ve been making:
There’s a difference between creating a moment and actually being present with the people.
Kendrick can disappear, re-emerge when the stakes are highest, create a massive cultural moment and disappear again. That strategy clearly works—but Ak’s argument is that you can’t use moments as a substitute for consistently doing the work.
Drake has taken the opposite approach.
Records. Freestyles. Livestreams. Collaborations. Showing love to artists. Engaging with fans. Taking losses publicly and coming right back outside.
He doesn’t just arrive when the spotlight is brightest.
He stays in the arena.
That’s why this next stretch is so interesting. Kendrick jumping back outside while Drake is already moving toward FOMO creates the perfect contrast between the two philosophies.
One specializes in making the moment feel monumental.
The other refuses to leave.
And when we talk about who is really carrying the weight of Hip-Hop, that distinction matters.
The King of Hip-Hop is present with the people. 👑🦉
You don’t become the man by checking into the game for the final two minutes.
You play the full 48.

DJ Akademiks goes off on Kendrick Lamar, arguing that he's "lazy" for frequently disappearing, then coming back to create a moment instead of putting in consistent work:
"Kendrick, your lazy ass will not avoid doing the work by making a moment. That's your whole career. Instead of working hard, putting out songs, grinding, doing the work to be the man, you mention the man. You try to make a moment with the man, try to steal the moment and do little work."
