Flint RNLI operates a D-Class inshore lifeboat for a part of the North Wales coast. The crew are all volunteers, who are on call 24/7 to save lives at sea.
Did you know after every launch (service or exercise), our volunteers wash down all our kit, from boats to boots?
Our volunteers will put their washing skills to good use on Sunday 3rd September, 10am to 2pm at Flint Lifeboat Station to make your car sparkle for a £5 donation
Do one thing this World Drowning Prevention Day - share our lifesaving advice.
With temperatures rising, more people are visiting the coasts across the UK & Ireland. Help keep yourself & others safe by sharing our #WaterSafety advice.

@FlintLifeboat is recruiting fundraising volunteers, like Sam: 'It's given me a second family, a fantastic social scene, taught me new skills and made me part of the community. You can’t compare the feeling of knowing every penny you raise is going towards saving someone's life.'
Today @britishcanoeing has launched the #PaddlersCode.
The code is a new guide for canoeists, kayakers and stand-up paddle boarders 🚣♀️

On behalf of everyone at Flint RNLI, we send our heartfelt condolences to The Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen dedicated 70 years as Patron of the RNLI. Her Majesty’s support for our lifesavers - and our cause - will never be forgotten.
A search of the banks in the area was conducted by Flint Lifeboat crew and Flint coastguard Rescue Team, and it was confirmed that there was nobody requiring assistance in the area. The tent was removed, and Flint Lifeboat was stood down and returned to station.

Flint RNLI volunteers were tasked by UK Coastguard at 06:32am this morning (Sunday 21 August) to reports of a tent pitched at the waters edge near Connahs Quay Dock and quickly becoming surrounded by water.
Flint lifeboat launched at Connah’s Quay Dock and made the short journey to its position, where it was confirmed that the tent was empty and showed no signs of recent occupancy.
It was a perfect evening for a training exercise ☀️🚤 Having West Kirby join us gave us an ideal opportunity to practice towing scenarios as well as share local knowledge between the crews
With the #heatwave set to continue, the @RNLI is urging people to take care when visiting the coast. If you see someone in trouble, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard. Lots of other useful advice here👇
@Danzie78@RNLI You could of ticked 2 lifeboats off your spotting list. @RNLIWestKirby came to join us on exercise last night. It was certainly a beautiful evening, I hope you and the pooch had a lovely walk ☀️
If you're heading to the coast to cool off during this #heatwave, remember to visit a lifeguarded beach, swim between the red and yellow flags and if you get in trouble in the water #FloatToLive#ArnofiwchiFyw👇
💍🎉 A huge congratulations to crew members James and Aby, who got married on Friday. As part of the celebrations, they were also presented their Jubilee medals on their special day 🎉💍
We wish them both many happy years together ❤️
