Davenport is a rural area. There is no more affordable land in the urban area of Orlando. Also, only a few builders are doing this. The higher quality builders are not practicing this. Lennar and DR Horton are the biggest culprits. They also build the crapiest homes so they need to sell them this way or they wouldn't be meeting their stockholders goals.

@Slayota There will be a market correction. Its the bars/restaurants being too greedy. The price for a bottle hasn't increased that much since I was young. Once the bars need to get competitive due to lack of business, they will bring prices back down in most areas.
